Al! Does this bring back memories?

No wonder it tasted good. Can you say ‘sugar high’?

*spoken in cookie monster’s voice* ME WANT SOME …….. SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGAR!!!!!!!!!!!

I love those!!! My absolute fave candy … nothing beats that I tell you. One bite and you’re a gonner. Oh the memories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where’s Bengawan Solo when you need one???

Oh sure, I could very well make that but THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS FRESHLY GRATED COCONUT HERE IN CENTRAL LONDON!!!!!!!!! So what’s there to ‘pack down’ huh???

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =(

=)

I’m sure you can use desiccated coconut?? Seeing as the recipe requires you to dry roast it anyway to remove most of the moisture??

Would also have thought that you might be able to find packed grated coconut somewhere in Chinatown (frozen section)…

If not, I will try and make it and send a care package to you 😉

Now – I hope you haven’t forgotten your promise…. I will be bringing in yeast, egg and gluten free treats on Tuesday…

Yes ma’am!

Don’t forget the cherry/raspberry/soya-free thing too. And parsley and aubergine, though I can’t quite see how you would effectively fit those into sweeties.

My diet must be such a pain for other people. Boo.
